Local events coming up

Things happening in the area

Here's a list of upcoming events that are not covered in the cultural section or the events at Ducks' section.
We'll add to this as we find out about events.
A good place to start is the Food, Drink, Devon website "what's on" section.
This has foodie events and farmers market information throughout Devon.

A great website for all things of interest in Devon is Muddy Stilettoes.
Things to do, events, and places to eat all feature on this excellent website.

Another good website is devonwithkids.co.uk which gives ideas for the youngsters in the whole of Devon.

Sheepdog & Falconry Displays at Borough Farm, near Woolacombe

Awaiting info on shows for this year...

The sheepdog show will once again be in the company of David Kennard, and his trusty team of working collies. With top dogs Mirk and Bec, with a little help from new recruit Sam.  Mirk will once again be taking on the role of duck dog with all the antics of 8 unpredictable ducks. You’ll be amazed by the skills of the Borough Farm sheepdogs
Falconry display will this year be performed by North Devon Falconer Martin Simkins.
With his fantastic  falcons, Charlotte the magnificent Eagle owl and amazingly clever Harris Hawk it’s a display that will live long in the memory.

Takes place on Wednesday evenings, see website for dates, times and prices:
