Staying at Ducks'

Take a trip to North Devon

There are several self-catering accommodation options available for staying at Ducks Paddle.
All  are unique, with their own story and charm.

The Cottage, which sleeps up to seven and is dog friendly.
Book Ducks Paddle
Camping, on the south field, to open for the 2025 Easter weekend then each subsequent weekend to the middle of September:
Coming very soon:

Colbourne's, the shepherd's hut, which sleeps two.

Minty, the Pegasso military radio truck, which sleeps up to two, either as single beds or a double.

Both Colboune's and Minty have exclusive kitchen, shower and WC facilities, so you don't have to share with anyone else.

When we first came to see it, the picture postcard nature of the cottage and gardens, the lane running past, deeply cut into the ground, with very old
oaks towering on either side, the views north, across
the valley, over to Exmoor, were something we were sure would appeal to many other people.

Our aim from the start was to have just a few places for guests to stay, to keep Ducks as an intimate, peaceful and relaxing place to spend a
holiday and for every group, couple and single traveller to feel that Ducks is their home while they are here.

The glampsite is run under the Wanderlust Camping Club who have helped us tremendously to get the site set up.

Each time you stay at a Wanderlust Camping Club site a small fee goes to the club. This fee is included in the booking fee.
Fees collected from our sites help the club to run efficiently which means we can continue to certify great sites across the country.
Some of the funds raised by the club go towards advertising and promoting our sites.
They donate to wildlife and nature projects throughout the UK.

When you glamp at Ducks Paddle the lead guest automatically joins the Wanderlust Club. You will be added to our mailing list and will occasionally receive updates such as information on new sites and any donations given out by the club. Membership lasts a lifetime but you can ‘opt’ out of emails any time by contacting the club directly.
We collect the full names and email addresses of the lead guests for their membership records.
