Accessability

We have tried to make our website as friendly to visually impaired users as we can, if there is anything you believe we could do to increase accessibility please contact us.

The cottage and grounds at Ducks Paddle are unfortunately not wheelchair friendly in general.

Parking is ample and flat, on hard standing immediately to the side of the Cottage, with limited space to open car doors fully, and on concrete by the workshops which is wide and reasonably east to navigate.

An old cottage with gravel/cobblestones to the front, several steps, one by the parking area and two at the entrance porch, narrow, steep stairs to the first floor with a turn on each side,
due to differing floor heights there are other steps down to both the kitchen and the Loft bedroom & family bathroom.

Outside the lawn is relatively flat, but uneven, its entrance gate is slightly sloped but has no steps to negotiate.

The camping field and the facilities are reasonably flat, but it is uneven, and there are no paths or outside lighting.

The glamping field is on a gradient, mostly grass, uneven in parts, with no paths or outside lighting.
Parking will usually be at the field gate, which is hard standing but uneven, by the "glamping unit" is possible, depending on how wet the field is.
There is parking by the workshops if available, however there is a steep path from there to the glamping field elevation.
Both Minty and Colbourne's are accessed by steps, Minty's camp kitchen is a horsebox with a step to the access ramp.
The compost WC's have steps to access as do the showers.

We are only a small business so have limited resources but will do our best to accommodate visitors both to the website and to Ducks Paddle.
